Hawaii Fugitive Wanted for Sexual AssaultArrested in Massachusetts

Boston, Massachusetts – The U.S. Marshals Service District of Massachusetts Fugitive Task Forcehas arrested a Hawaii fugitive who was wanted for sexual assault.

Coleen Kuamo`o aka Malama Kuamo`o, 43, was wanted in connection with the allegedsexual assault of a minor child inWailuku, HI. Kuamo`o was arrested on October 16, 2025, in Worcester, Massachusetts by the USMS District of Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force(MAFTF) on a warrant issued on July 26, 2025 in the Circuit Court of the Second Circuit (State of Hawaii) for (1) count of sexual assault in the first-degree, (3) counts of sexual assault in the third-degree, and (1) count of use of a computer in the commission of a crime.

“Anyone who thinks they can flee across the country to avoid facing justice is mistaken,” said Acting U.S. Marshal Kevin W. Neal. “This fugitivewas wanted in Hawaii for a serious sexual assault allegation,and thanks to the coordinated efforts of our law enforcement partners, she was tracked down and arrested here in Massachusetts.The U.S. Marshals Service is committed to ensuring fugitives face justice – no matter where they run.”

The Maui Police Departmentand the USMS Hawaii Violent Fugitive Task Force (HIVFTF) contacted the USMS District of Massachusetts MAFTF as they believed Kuamo`o to be in Massachusetts. The MAFTF tracked down Kuamo`o yesterdayin Worcester, Massachusettswhere she was placed under arrest. Significant assistance was provided by the Hawaii Violent Fugitive Task Force (HIVFTF); Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section; the Mauiand WorcesterPolice Departments; andDepartment of the Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Maui. Kuamo`o is charged as Fugitivefrom Justiceand will be arraigned in Massachusetts pending herextradition back to HI.
