The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

    Philadelphia, PA - Members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force arrested Amir Jones, 32, in the 4900 block of Kershaw Street in Philadelphia. Jones was wanted by the Philadelphia Police Department for 3 counts of homicide in relation to a July 21, 2024, mass shooting in the 1200 block of N. Alden Street.

  • Ohio Fugitive Wanted for Rape of a Juvenile Arrested in Massachusetts

    Boston, MA – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), District of Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force (MAFTF) announces the arrest of Webster Portalatin-Castro, 37, who was wanted for rape of a person under the age of 18. The warrant was issued on June 3, 2025, from the Cleveland Municipal Court in Cleveland, OH.

    Abingdon, VA – An alleged child rapist was arrested July 26 near the Virginia-Tennessee line through a coordinated effort by law enforcement agencies working in multiple states.

    William Martin was wanted for first-degree rape of a child on a warrant issued in Caldwell County, North Carolina.

  • U.S. Marshals Task Forces Capture Fugitive Wanted for 17 years

    Sarasota, FL – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) arrested John Joseph Kloss in North Port, Florida, July 25.

    Kloss, 67, was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for two counts of sodomy in the first degree, one count of sodomy in the second degree and one count of sexual assault.

    Rochester, NY – On Saturday, July 26, thirty-one-year-old Luis Francisco Soriano was successfully extradited by the Dominican Republic to the United States. The United States Marshals facilitated the transfer to Monroe County. Soriano was arrested by authorities in the Dominican Republic on June 4, at the request of the United States.   • U.S. Marshals and Memphis Police Arrest Fugitive Wanted for 2018 Murder

    Memphis, TN – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), assisted by the Memphis Police Department’s Fugitive Apprehension Team and TACT Unit, captured Dakarin Arnett, 23, who was wanted for First-Degree Murder.

  • U.S. Marshals Capture Teen Wanted for First Degree Murder

    Memphis, TN – Today, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) captured Derrion Taylor, 18, who is charged in a shooting that resulted in the death of a 93-year-old victim and injuries to two other people. Taylor is charged with First-Degree Murder, Two Counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder, and Two Counts of Aggravated Assault.

Rosario, a known member of the Trinitarios Gang, was wanted for 2 counts of Assault to Murder (Armed), Accessory After the Fact, Assault and Battery with Dangerous Weapon, Assault with Dangerous Weapon, and Firearm Carry without License.

  • Arkansas First-Degree Murder Suspect Captured in Memphis by U.S. Marshals

    Memphis, TN – On July 17, 2025, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) captured Arkansas murder suspect Travis Boyd, 30, in Memphis, Tennessee.

    On November 8, 2024, Orlando Garza was shot and killed after exiting a casino in West Memphis, AR. An arrest warrant was issued in Crittenden County, Arkansas, charging Travis Boyd with First-Degree Murder.

  • U.S. Marshals in FL Arrest MI Man Wanted for Sexual Assault of Minor

Talia Jones, 19, was arrested in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for Facilitation of First-Degree Murder and Janae Bradley, 32, was arrested in Memphis for First-Degree Murder.
