Western Tennessee U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Case Featured in 'Chasing Evil' Podcast

Jackson, TN – A fugitive arrest in Jackson that resulted in two members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force being struck by gunfire is featured in the popular true crime podcast, “Chasing Evil”.
The episode features the November 2nd, 2020, gunfight and subsequent arrest of Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted suspect, Bobby Joe Claybrook, Jr. Claybrook was wanted in Dyersburg, TN, for Attempted Murder. The fugitive case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Service. The listener will hear first-hand accounts from two members of the Task Force who were targeted.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency Task Force in the Western District of Tennessee. The TRVFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, and the Tennessee Department of Correction Special Agents from the Apprehension and Enforcement Unit. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
