U.S. Marshals Arrest Ohio Man Accused of Sex Crimes Against Children After Locating Him in Florida

Dayton, OH – The U.S. Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) with the assistance of the Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested fugitive James Tucker II in Sarasota County, Florida at approximately 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Tucker was indicted on April 10, 2023, through the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and charged with forty counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor; wherein, twenty of those counts were for creating, reproducing, and/or publishing the illegal content. The charges are the result of a Dayton Police Department investigation. Tucker has been booked into a local jail in Florida and awaits extradition to Ohio for his court appearance.

The U.S. Marshals Service is the nation’s primary fugitive hunting organization and captures more federal fugitives each year than all other law enforcement agencies combined.
