U.S. Marshals Task Force Captures Adult, Juveniles Involved in Robbery and Shooting

Jackson, TN - Over the span of two days, U.S. Marshals captured an adult, Damon Honen, and two juveniles in three different West Tennessee counties who were wanted for a robbery and shooting that injured two people earlier this month.
On March 1st around 10 p.m., the Jackson Police Department (JPD) responded to reports of gunfire at Post House Jackson Apartments on Rachel Drive. Officers discovered two people inside a car who had been shot. The victims were ultimately transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The investigation by JPD resulted in arrest warrants and juvenile petitions issued on March 7th for Damon Honen, 18, of Humboldt, TN, and multiple juveniles (age 17) from Jackson and Paris, TN, for the offenses of Especially Aggravated Robbery and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. JPD requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson to help locate and apprehend the suspects.
On March 11th, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested the first juvenile at his residence on Lakeshore Drive in Madison County. A handgun was recovered from his room.
On March 12th, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested a second juvenile at his residence on S. Porter Street in Paris. A handgun and drugs were recovered from his room. That same day, Marshals found Honen inside an apartment on Crockett Manor Drive in Trenton, TN, hiding in a closet under a large pile of clothes. All three suspects were transported to a local jail or juvenile detention center.
The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee. The TRVFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby, Fayette and Tipton County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis and Jackson Police Officers, Tennessee Department of Correction Special Agents, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
