U.S. Marshals Arrest Man Wanted for a Year-Old Cleveland Homicide

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Kemar Wallace, 38, who was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, on March 22, 2023, officers responded to the 2600 block of Loop Drive and found Darren Daniels, 33, unresponsive and laying on the ground outside his apartment with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body. Allegedly, Daniels and Kemar Wallace got into a verbal altercation at Daniels apartment, which escalated to Wallace shooting Daniels multiple times and ultimately killing him.

Today, members of the fugitive task force arrested Wallace at a residence near the 10500 block of Hudson Ave. in Cleveland. U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Persistent efforts by the Cleveland Division of Police, Homicide Unit, lead to the identification of this violent suspect. Almost a year after the incident, this fugitive is now behind bars and will face his charges.”
