Memphis, Tennessee – The Memphis Safe Task Force announces the arrest of Barrington J. Harwell, 28, in Memphis, Tennessee. Harwell, a self-admitted member of the Vice Lord gang, was arrested and charged federally with Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop initiated for a motor vehicle infraction, during which Harwell was identified as the owner and operator of the vehicle. Authorities recovered and seized two handguns during the stop.
The Memphis Safe Task Force, a unified effort among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, continues to showcase the impact of coordinated action in strengthening public safety.
