Memphis Safe Task Force Arrests Nineteen-Year-Old with Warrant for Second-Degree Murder

Memphis, Tennessee — The Memphis Safe Task Force announces the successful arrest of Martravius Vinson, 19, in Memphis, Tennessee.
At approximately 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, members of the Memphis Safe Task Force with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service Special Operations Group (SOG) executed an arrest warrant resulting in the apprehension of Vinson. He was taken into custody in the 4000 block of Shadcrest Road. Vinson was wanted for second-degree murder. The Memphis Safe Task Force received the warrant for Vinson’s arrest at noon and had him in custody in one hour.
“It is the mission of the Memphis Safe Task Force to ensure the safety of the Memphis community, and that is what we do by apprehending individuals like this so they can answer to the charges against them”, said US Marshals Service Director Gadyaces S. Serralta.
