U.S. Marshals Capture Accused Violent Fugitive From Milwaukee

Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the capture of an accused violent fugitive from Milwaukee, Ladarian Coffee.

On September 3, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ladarian Coffee allegedly stabbed Carlos Glaff causing him severe injury. On September 10, a warrant was issued by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for the arrest of Ladarian Coffee for First Degree Reckless Injury (Domestic) Use of a Deadly Weapon. Information was developed by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force that the fugitive had fled to Memphis, Tennessee.

On October 4, the victim Carlos Glaff died from the injuries that were inflicted on him on September 3.

Earlier today Coffee was tracked to a residence at the 3500 block of Fox Meadows by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. They were assisted by Memphis Police Officers from the Ridgeway Station. Coffee was located there and taken into custody without incident.

"Violent crimes are a tragedy which assail our communities," said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller. "The U.S. Marshals Service always strive to protect communities from these subjects."

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force with divisions in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The Western Tennessee Division of the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff's Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Madison County Sheriff's Deputies, Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, ATF, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
