U.S. Marshals Capture Dallas Murder Suspect

Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the capture of Delondre Roberson for a murder warrant.

On October 21 a male victim was shot to death in Dallas, Texas. On October 23 a murder warrant was issued for Delondre Roberson for this crime. (Note that there is not a first or second degree distinction on the warrant.)

Investigators with the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force developed information that the fugitive was in Memphis. Investigators with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force were able to track the fugitive to a residence on the 1200 block of Snowden Avenue in Memphis, TN.

The Task Force and the Shelby County Sheriff's Fugitive Apprehension Team went to that residence and took Roberson into custody without incident. At the time of this press release he awaits extradition at the Shelby County Detention Center.

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force with divisions in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The Western Tennessee Division of the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff's Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Madison County Sheriff's Deputies, Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, ATF, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
