Memphis, TN – Since it launched in October, the Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF) - a multi-agency initiative to combat violent crime in Memphis composed of federal, state, and local law enforcement, as well as the Tennessee National Guard - has been focused on arresting violent criminals, clearing warrants, seizing illegal firearms, and locating missing children.

Memphis, TN – Members of the Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF) on New Year’s Eve executed 25 criminal arrests and seized 12 illicit firearms.

Jesse Clark was arrested for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated rape, aggravated assault, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, methamphetamine and fentanyl.

At 7:40 p.m. on Thursday December 11, 2025, members of the Memphis Safe Task Force arrested Ashby in the 1600 block of Commerce Parkway in Horn Lake, Mississippi.

Memphis, TN – Members of the Memphis Safe Task Force on Thursday arrested a Memphis man charged in Shelby County on robbery, aggravated assault and theft of a firearm charges.

Samuel Floyd, 18, was arrested at approximately 2:15 p.m. in the 3300 block of Aden Street after a brief foot pursuit.  During the arrest, officers recovered a 9mm handgun.
