Cleveland, OH – The U.S. Marshals Service conducted Operation We Will Find You (OWWFY), a national missing child operation worked in conjunction with federal, state, and local agencies to recover endangered missing children. The Northern District of Ohio (N/OH) was one of sixteen selected regions to take part in this operation due to past success carrying out such operations.

Philadelphia, PA - Today, at approximately 11:30am, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Brian Amerman, 19, in the 2000 block of East Rush Street in Philadelphia, PA. Amerman was wanted on 2 carjacking warrants and 1 attempted murder warrant. These warrants were issued late in the evening on May 23rd and immediately delegated to the U.S.

Washington, DC – The United States Marshals Service (USMS), along with state and local agencies in 16 federal judicial districts and geographical locations across the U.S., led a 10-week national operation that resulted in the recovery or safe location of 225 endangered missing children, which includes runaways and those abducted by non-custodial persons.

New Orleans, LA – The U.S. Marshals Service New Orleans Task Force phase of the national missing children Operation We Will Find You resulted in the recovery of 14 missing or endangered children from either Orleans, Jefferson, or St. Tammany Parish.

Dayton, OH – The U.S. Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) with the assistance of the Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested fugitive James Tucker II in Sarasota County, Florida at approximately 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Albuquerque, NM – U.S. Marshals in Texas today arrested a convicted New Mexico sex offender on the run nearly 10 months.

Gallup, NM – In April the U.S. Marshals began to aid state and local law enforcement with efforts to locate this missing/endangered juvenile, and on May 19, U.S. Marshals in the Farmington and Santa Fe offices developed information that the juvenile was still in Gallup and responded to the location.

Concord, NH – The U.S. Marshals Service – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is pleased to announce that a violent fugitive from Hillsborough County was arrested in North Carolina and is currently being held pending extradition proceedings.

Philadelphia, PA — On May 17, 2023, the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force arrested the second of two men who escaped a Philadelphia prison on May 8th.

Austin, TX – The U.S. Marshals, working with Mexican officials, coordinated the deportation on May 16th of a Travis County resident who was sought by Manor Police Department following a 2016 hit-and-run incident in which a man was killed. 

Cleveland, OH – The U.S. Marshals Service Missing Child Unit in Cleveland, OH has been working in conjunction with the Bellevue Police Department (BPD) and the Huron County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) to locate and recover Dominic Oakes (13). Oakes was reported missing to the Bellevue Police Department on April 4, 2023, after he never returned home from school.

Youngstown, OH –  This afternoon, members of the Youngstown Division of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Daundre Turner, 25. Turner was wanted by the Youngstown Police Department for aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.

Phoenix, AZ – This afternoon, Godfrey Diaz Romero, 63, was deported back to the United States after his arrest in Sonora, Mexico. Romero was wanted by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for Sexual Assault, Kidnapping, Sexual Abuse, and Fraudulent Schemes.

Memphis, TN – Today, the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Marcus James White, 33, of Memphis. He was wanted on three counts of Aggravated Assault after hitting two Memphis Airport Police Officers with his vehicle.

Canton, OH – The U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) in Canton, OH arrested Cherie Goss (42) earlier today on charges of attempted first degree murder. Goss was wanted by the Broward County Sheriff's Office in Fort Lauderdale, FL after charges were filed against her in early April. The U.S.

Philadelphia, PA – The U.S. Marshals Service is currently leading search efforts for two fugitives who escaped custody late Sunday night.

Jackson, TN – The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson recently conducted "Operation Ready or Not, Here We Come, "a 30-day fugitive apprehension initiative focusing on sex offenders with outstanding warrants in Jackson and the surrounding counties.
