The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • Suspect Wanted in Toledo Vehicular Homicide Arrested in Findlay, Ohio

    Findlay, OH –  Yesterday afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) and the Findlay Police Department arrested Ruben Parraz, 56.  Parraz was wanted by the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office for two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide.

  • Cleveland Suspect From 2012 Murder Arrested by U.S. Marshals in Illinois

    Bloomington, IL – Earlier this afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF), along with Deputies from the Central District of Illinois, arrested Martino Giles, 35.  Giles has been wanted since 2015 by the Cleveland Division of Police for homicide.

    Titusville, FL – On April 20, 2023, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force ended a violent fugitive’s run from the law.

    Joseph Walker, 29, was wanted by the state of Virginia in relation to a violent murder.

    Hartford, CT - The U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force on April 17 apprehended in Brooklyn a Connecticut man wanted on multiple charges following a shooting incident in Hartford in February.

  • U.S. Marshals Arrest Alabama Sex Offender in Maine

    Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service, Maine Violent Offender Task Force announce the arrest of Jerry Griffin, 53, in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Griffin was wanted by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama as well as the Biddeford Maine Police Department for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

    Columbus, OH – The U.S. Marshals Service Missing Child Unit in Cleveland, OH has been assisting Cuyahoga County Job and Family Services (CCJFS) in the location and recovery of Trinee Washington (14). Washington was in the custody and care of CCJFS and was reported missing on July 9, 2022. Her whereabouts and safety were unknown until earlier this morning.

  • U.S. Marshals Offer up to $5K Reward for Man Wanted on Attempted Murder Charges in NH

    Concord, NH - The U.S. Marshals in New Hampshire are asking for the public’s assistance and offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted on multiple charges stemming from shooting incidents in October 2022 in Goffstown and June 2019 in Manchester. 

  • Second-Degree Murder Suspect Captured in Memphis by U.S. Marshals and Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies

    Memphis, TN – This morning, Diego Glay, 24, was captured by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Memphis and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Team. Glay, of Memphis, was wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with Second-Degree Murder for the shooting death of a female last year.

  • U.S. Marshals and Local Law Enforcement Partners Capture Suspect in Deadly Memphis Restaurant Shooting

    Memphis, TN – On April 3, 2023, U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement partners captured Johnny Sanford, 36, who was recently identified as one of the shooters that left two dead and five others injured at the Prive Restaurant. The Memphis Police Department has charged Sanford, of Memphis, with First-Degree Murder and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

  • U.S. Marshals Capture Three Teens Held on Violent Offenses who Escaped West Tennessee Youth Detention Center

    Memphis, TN – The U.S. Marshals in the Western District of Tennessee announce the capture of three male juveniles, all 17-years-old, who escaped the Wilder Juvenile Detention Center in Fayette County, Tennessee. The three captured teens were being held on charges ranging from Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault to Felony Reckless Endangerment.

    Cleveland, OH – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) and Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County are offering a reward for information that directly leads to the arrest of Jayrion Church, 17. Church is wanted for the March 14th shooting of a Cleveland Police Detective who was shot in the arm and leg.

  • Eastern Washington Fugitive Couple on U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted Arrested in Mexico

    Washington, DC – A fugitive couple charged in Franklin County, Washington, with the murder of a child and multiple counts of child sex abuse were arrested March 22 in Mexico. Five children, who had been listed as missing and endangered, were also recovered at the time of the arrest.

    Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service, Maine Violent Offender Task Force, announces the recovery of a West Virginia juvenile in Portland Maine. The juvenile was reported as a runaway from a foster care home in Hillsboro, West Virginia, in September of 2022.

  • Fugitive Captured in Alabama, Wanted for the Murder of a Man in Morovis, Puerto Rico

    San Juan, PR – A man charged with the murder of another man in Puerto Rico was apprehended early today in Phenix City, Alabama, by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force working a collateral lead from the U.S. Marshals in Puerto Rico and the Bayamón Special Detention Unit.
