Rochester, NY – On Saturday, July 26, thirty-one-year-old Luis Francisco Soriano was successfully extradited by the Dominican Republic to the United States. The United States Marshals facilitated the transfer to Monroe County. Soriano was arrested by authorities in the Dominican Republic on June 4, at the request of the United States. He is charged with:

San Juan, PR – The U.S. Marshals Service District of Puerto Rico has added to its 10 Most Wanted fugitives list a man wanted by the Irondequoit, New York, Police Department on four charges of second-degree murder and charges of narcotics.

Pittsburgh, PA - The U.S. Marshals in the Western District of Pennsylvania, along with the Western District of New York, have joined the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) manhunt for a man who escaped from the Warren County jail late Thursday, July 6, 2023.

Buffalo, NY - The U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force recovered a critically missing child from Sweetwater, Texas early today in Lockport, New York.

The child was reported as a runaway to the Sweetwater Police Department in Texas, and authorities received information that the child could be heading to the New York area. 

Concord, NH – This morning, the United States Marshals Service is pleased to report that they have successfully tracked down and arrested a Litchfield (NH) Police Department fugitive in New York. Devin Leonard, 23 years-of-age, was arrested without incident by members of the U.S. Marshals – New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force in Buffalo, New York.

Scranton, PA – Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Alexander James Casciani McElroy – a 23-year old man with past addresses in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and Rochester, New York.
