First-Degree Murder Suspect Apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Memphis

Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the capture of Ozar Odell Faulkner on charges of First-Degree Murder that occurred in Memphis. Faulkner is a suspect from a homicide that took place at a carwash off North Hollywood Street on August 3, 2021.
On November 4, 2021, an arrest warrant for one count of First-Degree Murder was issued for Faulkner. The Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) adopted the case out of Shelby County.
This morning, the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) went to an apartment complex at 1910 Asa Drive in Memphis to locate Faulkner. Deputies arrested Faulkner without incident at the residence.
U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller stated, "Our team here in the Western District of Tennessee strives to provide the citizens of our district a safer community by taking dangerous suspects off the streets."
The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee. The Western Tennessee Division of the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff's Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
