Florida Fugitive on the Run for 15 Years Arrested in Tennessee

Linden, TN – The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson, Tennessee, arrested a Florida fugitive on the run for 15 years.

Perry Hand, 69, was arrested May 19, 2026, on arrest warrants issued in 2011 in the Circuit Court of Bay County, Florida, for Failure to Appear for Possession of a Firearm by Violent Career Criminal, Sale of a Controlled Substance (2 Counts), Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Sale of Marijuana, and Trafficking Hydrocodone.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the USMS Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task in Panama City in finding fugitive Perry Hand.

Information was recently developed that Hand was possibly in Tennessee. Deputy marshals and task force officers tracked Hand to where he was living at the Drop Anchor RV Park in Linden. He was taken into custody and transported to the Perry County Jail.
