Memphis, Tennessee – The Memphis Safe Task Force announces the successful arrest of Ernest Jenkins, 41, in Memphis, Tennessee. Jenkins was wanted on multiple felony charges, including Criminal Attempt Second Degree Murder, Petition to Revoke Suspended Sentence, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Manufacture, Deliver, or Sell (2 counts), Theft of Firearm (under $2,500), Theft of Property ($2,500–$10,000), and Burglary of a Vehicle.
Jenkins was located and apprehended during a targeted arrest operation near North Pauline Street at approximately 1700 hours on October 19th. This operation reflects the Task Force’s strategic focus on high-risk offenders and its commitment to swift, coordinated enforcement actions.
