Man Arrested in Connection to Murder of 16-Year-Old Euclid Boy

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Jay Shan Vance, 20. Vance was wanted by the Euclid Police Department for homicide.

According to Euclid police, 16-year-old Keshaun Lamar, was shot and killed early in the morning on Oct. 1 at an apartment in the 27500 block of Brush Ave. A juvenile suspect was arrested the same day as the incident. Jay Shan Vance was later identified as being involved in this deadly shooting, and warrants were issued.

Today, members of the NOVFTF arrested Vance at an address near the 13400 block of 5th Avenue, East Cleveland, OH.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “The efforts of the Euclid Police Department and our fugitive task force resulted in the arrest of this homicide suspect and hopefully this brings the family of the victim one step closer to justice.”
