Memphis, Tennessee – The Memphis Safe Task Force announces the arrest of Anquanette Burnside, 24, in Memphis, Tennessee, on charges of Criminal Attempted First-Degree Murder. Burnside surrendered to authorities following the persistent and coordinated investigative efforts of the Memphis Safe Task Force.
According to law enforcement reports, Burnside was initially arrested on January 6, 2025, following a violent incident on December 31, 2024, in which she allegedly struck a female victim twice with a motor vehicle. She was released on bond on March 14, 2025. Burnside was later indicted in connection with the case, and a warrant for her arrest was issued on September 26, 2025.
