Task Force Arrests Fugitive Wanted for Rape of a Minor

Cincinnati, OH – The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) with assistance of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit have arrested Dewan Morris.
Morris was wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office on an arrest warrant for rape of a minor, sexual battery of a minor, and gross sexual imposition. Morris had been on the run since the indictment was issued on October 5th, 2021. During the morning hours of April 28th, 2022, investigators observed Morris at an apartment complex near the Seymour Avenue area of Cincinnati, OH. Morris was taken into custody without incident. Morris now awaits his court appearance for the alleged charges and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
