U.S. Marshals and Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies Capture Arkansas First Degree Murder Suspect from 2022 Homicide

Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshals and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) announce the capture of Mircale Bills, 31, of Memphis, who was wanted for a deadly 2022 shooting inside a Forrest City, Arkansas night club.

On April 17, 2022, Forrest City Police were dispatched to the 50/50 Club in Forrest City. Officers arrived and found a victim, Shaquenna Wilson, who was shot after an altercation with Bills. Wilson was rushed to an area hospital but died of her injuries. Forrest City Detectives developed the case, and on December 8th, 2023, an arrest warrant for First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault was issued for Bills.

On January 5th, 2024, U.S. Marshals in the Eastern District of Arkansas, Jonesboro Office, developed information that the suspect lived in Memphis. The case was then referred to the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Memphis to find and apprehend Bills.

Today, the TRVFTF along with the SCSO Fugitive Apprehension Team went to a business location in the 1900 block of Covington Pike in Memphis. Investigators spotted Bills outside the building and approached her. She surrendered without incident and was transported to the Shelby County Jail where she will await the extradition process back to Arkansas.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee. The TRVFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby, Fayette, and Tipton County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis and Jackson Police Officers, and the Tennessee Department of Correction Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
