Dayton, OH – The U.S. Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested fugitive Damarcus Guy outside a Miami Valley bus station at approximately 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. SOFAST members located Guy who was awaiting a Greyhound bus that would take him out of the state and arrested him safely without incident. The Dayton Municipal Court issued an arrest warrant for Guy on June 23, 2023, charging him with kidnapping, abduction, attempted rape, gross sexual imposition, disrupting public service, and aggravated burglary. These charges are the result of a Dayton Police Department investigation. Guy has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail and now awaits his court appearance(s).

“The U.S. Marshals and our law enforcement partners continue to pursue and apprehend suspects accused of violent crimes to help make our communities safer. Removing these violent offenders from our neighborhoods takes away their opportunity to commit further acts of violence. Our ongoing partnership with the Dayton Police Department was instrumental in this capture.” – Michael D. Black, United States Marshal.

U.S. Marshals SOFAST is a multi-jurisdictional task force comprised of the Dayton Police Department, Ohio Adult Parole Authority, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Police Department, Greene County Prosecutor’s Office, Miami County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, Perry Township Police Department, Springboro Police Department, Franklin Police Department, United States Secret Service, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, West Carrollton Police Department, and the Xenia Police Department.
