U.S. Marshals Arrest Four Suspects in Connection with Cleveland Homicide

Cleveland, OH – This week, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Kiarah Bonner, 22, Johnae Bonner, 20, Donajia Bonner, 19, and Brandon Reed, 18. All four were wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for the same homicide.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, on September 11, 2023, officers responded to the 1100 block of E. 145th Street for a male that was shot. Police located a 39-year-old male, who had suffered several gunshot wounds, and was not breathing and unconscious. Kiarah Bonner, Johnae Bonner, Donajia Bonner and Brandon Reed were all identified as being involved in this deadly shooting, and homicide warrants were issued for all four.

On September 18, members of the NOVFTF arrested all three Bonner females. Kiarah Bonner was arrested at an address near the 4100 block of E. 59th Street, Cleveland, OH. The NOVFTF arrested Johnae Bonner at an address near the 13900 block of Superior Avenue, Cleveland, OH. Donajia Bonner was arrested at an address near the 12700 block of Shaker Boulevard, Shaker Heights, OH. Today, the task force arrested Brandon Reed at an address near the 1200 block of E. 175th Street, Cleveland, OH.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “This week our task force arrested the 20th homicide suspect since the start of “Operation 2-1-6”. Our officer’s determination to take violent fugitives off the streets of Cleveland during this operation has been unwavering.”
