U.S. Marshals Arrest Texas Man in Maine for Transportation of Illegal Aliens in Texas

Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service - Maine Violent Offender Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Western District of Texas’ Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, announce the arrest of Elliot Cordero Phylow, 30, in Brunswick, Maine on August 7, 2023. Phylow was wanted on federal charges out of Texas for Conspiracy to transport illegal aliens and transportation of illegal aliens.

Based upon an investigation from the United States Marshals Service, Western District of Texas’ Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, investigators developed information that Phylow fled Texas and was currently in Maine. Through a collaborative effort, the USMS, Maine Violent Offender Task Force was able to locate and safely apprehend Phylow in Brunswick, ME. Phylow was arraigned in Maine and is pending his extradition back to Texas.

The USMS - Maine Violent Offender Task Force received significant assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, Western District of Texas. The U.S. Marshals Service - Maine Violent Offender Task Force is comprised of members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Maine State Police, Maine Department of Corrections, Biddeford Police Department, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
