U.S. Marshals in Florida Arrest Virgin Islands Man Wanted for Homicide

St. Thomas, VI – A St. Thomas man wanted for the June 16 murder of Asani Henry was apprehended by U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) in Orange County, Florida.

Jah’Sheem Graham, wanted by the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) for aiding and abetting first degree murder, was arrested on Sept. 28 by the U.S. Marshals Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force (FCRFTF) in Orange County, FL.

On September 23, the VIPD requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force in the district of the Virgin Islands in locating and apprehending Graham. Graham, along with another suspect, is accused of the June 16, 2026, murder of 23-year-old Asani Henry, in the area of Hospital Ground, St. Thomas. Graham fled the territory on June 18.

Virgin Islands Police Department detectives and USMS investigators in the district of the Virgin Islands identified a possible location for Graham in Orlando, Florida. On September 28, FCRFTF and the Orange County Sheriff's Office felony team located Graham and arrested him without incident in front of an apartment building in Orange County, Florida. He is currently being held, awaiting extradition to the Virgin Islands.
