U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests Child Porn Fugitive

Concord, NH – The United States Marshals Service – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is pleased to announce the arrest today of a Strafford County fugitive wanted for failing to appear on child pornography charges in Dover, NH.

Jeremy Alden Towle, 24 years-of-age, whose last known address was in Manchester, NH, was being sought on an arrest warrant issued by the Strafford County Superior Court for failing to appear for arraignment on March 17, 2022. Towle had been scheduled to be arraigned on a 5-count indictment alleging that Mr. Towle had "knowingly procured, possessed, or controlled visual representations of a child engaging in sexually explicit conduct."

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was able to determine that Towle was no longer residing in Manchester and expanded their search. Through this investigation, Information developed by the task force indicated that Mr. Towle was possibly residing with family members on Columbus Avenue in Dover, NH.

This afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force went to this address, where Jeremy Towle was located and arrested without incident. Towle was brought to the Strafford County Jail, where he was processed and held without bail until his court appearance in Strafford County Superior Court.

This investigation and arrest were conducted by the US Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, including members from the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office, the Greenfield Police Department, along with deputy U.S. Marshals.

Strafford County Sheriff, Mark Brave said, "We are very pleased that our partnership with the US Marshals has yielded such great results" Brave continued, "Locating and arresting Mr. Towle is just one of the many examples of the great work that the task force does for Strafford County."

Since the inception of the U.S. Marshals - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in over 8,542 arrests (Updated as of 12/31/2021). These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the United States Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, 8 regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.
