U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests Idaho Fugitive Charged with Aggravated Lewd Conduct with a Minor

Spokane, WA - The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested Christian Harrison Evensizer, 28, today in Spokane, Washington, near the area of Sprague Avenue and Stone Street, following an active fugitive investigation.

Evensizer is charged with Aggravated Lewd Conduct with a Minor Under 12 stemming from a criminal investigation led by the Post Fall Police Department. It is alleged that Evensizer sexually assaulted a minor under the age of 12.

Evensizer was taken into custody without incident by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force, with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation - Spokane, the Idaho Department of Corrections, the Post Falls Police Department, the Spokane Valley Police Department, the Washington State Department of Corrections, and the Washington State Patrol.

The arrest concludes a coordinated, multi-agency effort to locate and apprehend Evensizer. He was transported to the Spokane County Jail, where he will be held pending extradition to Idaho.

The United States Marshal for the District of Idaho, Brent Bunn, relayed his appreciation to all the task force members and law enforcement partners in Idaho and Washington for their collaborative efforts throughout the weekend and today. Marshal Bunn stated, “The diligent investigate efforts of the Post Falls Police Department and collaboration with our task force and other partners led to the quick apprehension of a dangerous fugitive who was actively evading law enforcement.”

The U.S. Marshals Service remains committed to protecting communities by aggressively pursuing violent offenders and ensuring those accused of crimes against children are located and brought before the courts through strong federal, state, tribal, and local partnerships.

The Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force is a U.S. Marshals-led partnership comprising federal, state, and local law enforcement officers from Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. The task force’s primary mission is to locate, arrest and return to the justice system the most violent and egregious federal and state fugitives.
