U.S. Marshals Service and Law Enforcement Partners Arrest Suspect Tied to Prior Drug Smuggling Scheme

New Castle, DE – The United States Marshals Service (USMS) First State Fugitive Task Force recently concluded an operation to apprehend a suspect connected to a 2025 prison smuggling scheme at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center.
On May 12, 2026, in New Castle, DE, investigators executed the arrest of Jalen Hubbard, who had active warrants from the Delaware State Police for possession with intent to distribute (PWITD), the Delaware Probation and Parole for violation of probation and Pennsylvania Parole for a parole violation.
The USMS First State Fugitive Task Force in the District of Delaware is comprised of state, county, and local police agencies including: Delaware State Police, Delaware State Probation and Parole, Wilmington Police Department, New Castle County Police Department, Dover Police Department, and the University of Delaware Police Department.
