Jackson, TN – The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson captured Brenden Lubbock, 20, on warrants for Aggravated Robbery, three counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Armed Dangerous Felonies issued by the Gibson County General Sessions Court.
On April 20, 2023, the Milan Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the area of Cedar Street. Officers responded to the scene and found the three victims who told the officers that they have been shot at by Lubbock. Allegedly, Lubbock robbed a man at gunpoint. When the three original victims later confronted Lubbock about the robbery, he allegedly shot towards them but did not receive any injuries. On April 28th, arrest warrants were issued for Lubbock, and the case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Service.
On the morning of May 4th, Marshals located Lubbock traveling westbound on Royal Street in Jackson. The vehicle was stopped at a shopping center off Carriage House Drive. Lubbock attempted to evade and struck the column of a nearby building. Lubbock's vehicle was surrounded, and a vehicle pin was executed by members of the Task Force. This maneuver rendered his vehicle immobile. Lubbock was then taken into custody with no injuries to him or law enforcement. He was transported to the Madison County Jail and temporarily held for Gibson County.
