U.S. Marshals' Biographies

The Honorable Thomas E. Brown was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden Jr., confirmed by the Senate, and appointed on October 17, 2022, to serve as the United States Marshal (USM) for the Northern District of Georgia.

Thomas L. Foster was nominated by President Donald J. Trump and confirmed by the United States Senate on July 2, 2020. U.S. Marshal Thomas L. Foster began his law enforcement career as Deputy Sheriff for the Salem, Virginia, Sheriff's Office.

In February 2020, T. Michael O'Connor was sworn in as the U.S. Marshal of the Southern District of Texas. A fifth-generation South Texas rancher, U.S. Marshal T. Michael O'Connor continues his stewardship in public service and as a businessman.

Todd L. Nukes was appointed by President Donald J. Trump on January 15, 2019 as the U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Indiana. The U.S. Marshals Service is the federal government's primary agency for fugitive investigations and security of the federal judiciary and courts.

Tyreece L. Miller was sworn in as the United States Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee on July 10, 2020. Marshal Miller is responsible for the management, administration, and direction of operations throughout the district.

Vincent F. DeMarco was nominated by President Donald J. Trump and confirmed by the United States Senate on June 18, 2020. U.S. Marshal Vincent F. DeMarco began his law enforcement career in 1994 as a Deputy Sheriff with the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office in New York.

William B. Berger was sworn in as the United States Marshal of the Middle District of Florida on February 7, 2011. The District is comprised of five offices located in Tampa, Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, and Ft. Myers.

William R. Hart was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden and confirmed by the United States Senate on June 7, 2023, to serve as the U.S. Marshal for the District of New Hampshire.

As Marshal, Brown is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the District's offices in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Additionally, he guides the operation of the Middle District Fugitive Task Force, production of federal prisoners in federal court proceedings, transportation of federal prisoners.

Wilmer Ocasio-Ibarra was sworn in as the United States Marshal of the District of San Juan on September 29, 2019. The District of San Juan is comprised of Court House in Old San Juan, Hato Rey and Ponce.

Wing Chau was nominated by President Donald J. Trump to serve as the 33rd United States Marshal for the District of Rhode Island. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on April 11, 2019 and was sworn in by Chief Judge William Smith for the United States District Court of Rhode Island on May 13, 2019.
